മിന്നും മിന്നും ചെറു താരമെ നീ
ഒരു വൈരകൽപോൽ വാനിൽ നീ,
ധരയുടെ   മുകളിൽ  ഉയരത്തിൽ!
അത്ഭുതമെനിക്ക് നീ ആരെന്ന് !

ജ്വലിക്കും സൂര്യസ്തമന സമയത്ത്, 
മഞ്ഞിൽ പുൽക്കൊടി നനയുമ്പോൾ,
നിൻ ചെറു പ്രകാശ ബിന്ദു കാണിച്ച്,
മിന്നും മിന്നും രാവിൽ മുഴുവൻ നീ.

നിൻ ചെറു മിന്നൽ കാണുമ്പോൾ
കൃതജ്ഞർ  നിശയിലെ യാത്രക്കാർ
നീ മിന്നാതെങ്ങാൻ നിന്നെങ്കിൽ
വഴി കാണാതവർ അലഞ്ഞേനെ !

സൂര്യൻ ഉദിക്കും വരെയും നീ
വാനിൽ, കണ്ണുകൾ ചിമ്മാതെ
ഒളികണ്ണിട്ടിടയ്ക്കു നോക്കുന്നു
