Religions stand for the people to lead a life based on ethics, compassion and justice. If Trump wants America to be more religious, he and his administration need to demonstrate more humane executive actions. An administration that is cruel, extremist, exclusive and fear inducing action on each and every day against so many human beings cannot advocate for superficial religiosity.

We have certainly seen very different viewpoints from both parties. All this commotion leaves us somewhat confused and wondering what will happen next. On the Republican side, we saw the aggressive nature of handling issues that the previous administration presented. Yes, there were quite a few. Most of us have seen the damage resulting from the carelessness of the previous administration. The main issue was the border situation. I don’t think there is any dispute about that. If the emergence of COVID and the uncertainty that presented resulted in the administration change, there is no doubt that the border issue resulted in the reversal of the political spectrum. For the past nine+ years, the attack on President Trump has been routine news in the media. Surviving such a hostile climate was not an easy task. Although many blacks supported Mr. Trump, the majority of the blacks in power were attacking him continuously to the point that it felt like all the blacks were against him. There is no need to mention any names. With that as a backdrop, when Mr Trump became president, it was natural to expect some actions that may look like “retaliatory.” If that is true, would you blame him? Mr. Trump started his administration by selecting a team that would certainly be loyal to him. For the most part, his judgment was accurate with some exceptions. The American political spectrum started to change. But with every such change, the Democrats will find a way to put roadblocks, which is expected. But when such “Rosadblocks” result in meaningless and sometimes stupid decisions, people started to notice. And among the top leaders in that party struggle to put their priorities straight. We have seen the emergence of many unknown leaders showing up with their agendas. There has to be a balance in showing their hatred. In the absence of that, any new or different agendas will result in backfires. We have also seen that. If we need to see this country progress for a better future, look at the merits of the programs and approve them if it is appropriate, regardless of political affiliation. Most of us are law-abiding people in this country. And most of us have gone through difficult steps to achieve that status. So it is natural to feel betrayed if a group of people is given a “free pass”.
